VICTORIAN BEAUTY-TRANSITIONAL KITCHEN IN BELMONT MASSACHUSETTS

This beautiful kitchen was expanded out toward the back of the house, while creating a mid level mudroom and a full height, usable basement in the process. Subzero and Wolf appliances on either side of the gray/green island allow for multiple uses for the island, prep and perching. A beverage sink on the rangetop side, allows for ease of washing vegetables and foods, while the main sink handles 'clean up'. Suspended over the mudroom and behind the sink are lit beams of reclaimed wood suspended with cable wire. Light from three sides fills the space that did not exist with the galley kitchen configuration that the homeowners had. A new side door and deck allows for ease of getting into the kitchen from the side driveway.
